Durham Fox

El Dude Brother.
Please don't reply to this thread, it's JUST A POLL. Any replies will be deleted.

The poll is private so people won't know what you've voted for, but for information, I've voted 'don't know'

A 'dont know' vote is in fact a vote for 'no' as nothing would change, hence why neithr Melton or I had this option on our polls.

Good to see a straight forward question

Without knowing the facts easy to go for 'don't know' i've treated as a yes or no

I voted don't know because I don't know the full details of MM's bid. If I was a shareholder and attending the meeting on Saturday I would have the details, and I would make my decision based on that. So don't know doesn't mean no, it means don't know.

And please don't reply to the poll thread again, I made it clear that thread is just for a poll.

not necessarily, it could be a case of 'I'm not in possesion of enough info to make a clear decision'

Nor does anyone else - making the poll a bit......pointless:102::102::102:

Some people have voted yes or no without knowing the full details, so they obviously don't think it's pointless.

I know that, but whats the point? We don't know what his plan is and IMO the 'Loaning' of money is a big worry. It doesn't serve any purpose because if we really did know the in's and outs of the bid im certain there are parts of it that no one on this forum would be happy with.

IM still holding out and hoping the Midlands bid will come in and be 'investment' rather than 'loans'. Last thing this club needs is more Debt.

You are talking like a deluded fool. Where is this 'Midlands' benefactor likely to come from?? Why do you expect anyne to give us money??

Its a poll on a forum, designed to stimulate debate. If you dont like it then dont post.

A slight over reaction to what I feel was a fair comment.

The club have said they were expecting another bid this week. OK it hasn't happened yet - but thats not to say it won't. I would like to see it happen simply because if it does the board would have some options, rather than accept MM's bid or be lynched.

Not really, you stated that 'loaning money is a big worry' and you were hoping for 'investment'. Do you mena lke the current 'investors' who are now taking their money back plus 25p in the pound?

Where have you heard that?

Nothing I've heard suggests the current owners will get any more back than they paid for it - which is effectively a loss as they've had capital tied up for 4 years when it could have been earning interest.

Durham you'r not thinking this through. Ok great if MM comes here and 'loans' us £10 million and we get into the Premiership.

But what if he comes here loans us £10million and this time in 3 years we've had another 3/4 managers, the squad is tottally diffrent and were still a Championship team? Do we borrow more money from him and hope everything works out ok? And if it doesn't and he fecks off what then?

I'm thinking worst case senario here but in Business you have to.

i thought they just put the money to save the club not to make money if that is the case then the FT thoughts that MM wants to make money is the same as we have now :102:

So what happens if your man comes in and invests the same amount? It doesnt work out in the same way and the he wants his money back.
