Sky have deciced we're that good, we don't need as much rest as the other teams.

Reading away on Saturday 24th October has been moved to Monday 26th October - 8pm kick off.

As we were already aware, later that week, we will play QPR on the Friday night, again live on Sky.

****ing ridiculous - twice in 5 days and no football on two consecutive Saturday afternnons.

Sky is doing more damage to this game than people are prepared to understand.

Excellent... look forward to another Birtles/Parry commentary special.

So yet another match where away fans won't be able to use public transport because it's moved from a Saturday afternoon to a week night.

I bet BM still finds a way to do it though, via Cardiff probably.

I think it may be possible to get back via London with the later train, but still it means folk have to use holidays to finish work early to get to these games, and then they wont get get back until the small hours of the following morning.

I had to get a cab to work this morning as I needed to be in early. My cab driver had driven Birtles to Newcastle and back last night. At a rough guess, this would have cost in excess of £400.

Nice to see where Sky are using my subscription money :icon_roll

While agreeing with your sentiment, I would point out that it should be possible for fans to get back to St Pancras in time for the 00:15 to Leicester.

The real problem is that football is prepared to put up with the indignities that Sky pile upon them.

Ever thought that the fact that people pay subscription money to Sky is part of the problem?

I didn't realise the last train from London was so late now, a couple of years ago it wouldn't have been possible.

Reading's ground is a fair way from the station and although there are shuttle buses there can be quite a wait after the match, but I would expect it will be possible to get the 00:15 train from London.

FFS....Drives me mad this. Two matches now around my Birthday which have been totally fecked up by SKY. It's all about me you know.

How dare you. Do I appear as someone likely to place one's good meats inside a mutton?
