Just starting the weekend off with a bottle of Wells Banana Bread beer. Might sound a bit of an abomination to some but it's very nice, not as good as raisin beer though.

Tried it out of curiosity, half expecting it to be unpleasant and never to be repeated. but it made a nice change. Much prefer the raisin beer but haven't seen it recently.

Pint of St Austell Tribute at the end of a walk around the Newport Flats. A very well presented and flavoursome beer, but I still don't like it. Or Newport. Preferable to watching the game this pm though.

I must admit that the best part of living in Newport for 6 years was leaving the place.

Lovely bottle of Theakstons Masham Glory to celebrate Nugent's goal. Theakstons is one of my all time favourite breweries but haven't had a pint of this before.

Oh and also a pint of Hook Norton's Old Hooky at the New Pilot in Penarth went down very well the other day after an afternoon's walking.

Ha a pint of Adnams Southwold in Dom Paddy's the other day - just as lovely as some of the fitties behind the bar!

Ah well, all alone with a few bottles of Badger Golden Glory.
It's a little sweet for a 'real beer' but pleasant nonetheless.
