That story’s probably good enough to be in his book.
His parents lived on Gooding Ave, my parents on Braunstone Ave (both houses facing Braunstone park).
His brother used to take corner kicks for Shilton to catch most Saturday mornings

Ay up Bro. I remember us watching Shilton on the park (which apparently was in his book ). One day some bloke ran by and stopped to speak to him briefly and when the bloke passed us we asked him if he was Bobby Kellard who City had signed a couple of days earlier. He wasn't !!!!!

Few stories can top this

Mate

he was at his nan’s house, right

and Martin O’Neill tried to ring him at his mam and dad’s. But he wasn’t there!

Unforgettable
It’s times like these that we need the Sav’s nan story.

We look toxic right now, and rather unappealing

Be very lucky to even get Dyche - but I do think he’ll take it

**** me, Sean Dyche? Really? Is that better?
It’s a squillion times better than what we have.

I actually think we couldn’t have a worse person in charge of the side now. Gary Megson would be better.

We will continue to lose matches by 2-3 clear goals with Rodgers at the wheel.

Has to be Dyche.

The players need grit and mental toughness; it's the biggest thing missing and it's what is killing us.

We fall apart as soon as the tide swings against us, like today. It started in THAT Bournemouth game and has become more and more commonplace since, and now it's happening every week.

Rodgers can't instill that in his players, clearly. Dyche can.
