We DEFINITELY need a striker. We struggled at League 1 level if one of our main strikers was out so we really need at least one more.

We DEFINITELY need a striker. We struggled at League 1 level if one of our main strikers was out so we really need at least one more.

I expect DJ Campbell's future will need to be sorted out before NP knows his budget for new strikers.

Hope he proves to be a good signing, as it sounds like he's cost a fair bit and is probably going to be our most expensive signing of the season.

Teams coming together, but we still need 2 new strikers I think.

I would expect us to buy at least 1 striker, maybe another just on loan. Then loans for another keeper, another midfielder (Cleverley) and a backup fullback perhaps? Possibly another winger as well..

I'd snap your hand off for £2m for Mattock.

Berner or McGiven (if we sign him on loan from Man City) can play left back. The £2m can be used to get a new striker in and a couple of more loans.

I'd reckon Dyer, Wellens, King, Oakley as more likely midfield to be honest.

I have just checked the moderator logs, and there have been three moderator actions since this thread was started.

Glyn closed a thread in the betting forum, Steven edited the sticky transfers thread, and Bocadillo closed the Wellens speculation thread.


Maybe you started posting a reply to the speculation thread before it was closed (at around 6 this morning), but didn't click on submit until after it was closed. If you'd done that you'd have seen a message telling you it hadn't been posted, but you may have missed that.
