Maybe they're expecting them to sell out to STHs and members. Or they're trying to sell memberships to fickle glory hunting part time fans.
That's the irony of it. No general sale and memberships are closed.

"Memberships for season 2021/22 are sold out".

Yes. But they weren't sold out a couple of days ago. Maybe they're now sold out because of the number of people who wanted to buy Roma tickets. And they took them off sale because Roma tickets are now pretty much sold out, apart from the family stand.

When I spoke to ticket office yesterday they said memberships were sold out “last week”

The club is pathetic when it comes to this stuff.

Also, they are ripping us all off no matter how you try and justify it.

Now just the family stand left.

What's that? About 400 seats left?

Perhaps the consideration should have been for a few to be reallocated in the north stand to make room for the singing section there. You know - disrupt an area of the ground that is not full rather than an area that is. Noisy away fans and noisy home fans together should stoke up the atmosphere a bit. I can't see any problems there; Lako will be along in a minute to tell us that they only want to make a noise and would not be thinking of confronting the nice men from Italy.

I have no desire to be near the belt yielding weirdos.

There is a relevant issue raised here though. The singing section and L1 1st sections sold out despite being the last on sale and yet the family stand is not sold.

Singing section over subscribed
Family stand too big

That was my point. I am sure somebody with a bit of imagination could have made safe adjustments to address this.

How many years have I been boring you all about the, theoretically sold but, unfilled seats in the Family Stand?

The club did shrink it a bit recently, but not enough.

Ffs does anyone need a babysitter on Thursday? I need a well behaved child to accompany me, otherwise I can't purchase a ticket. I throw in a bag of Star Mix and a Fanta.

Loads of people want to buy but can't because you have to take a child

Might be worth checking the website regularly. A seat became available in one of the other areas a few minutes ago. It's gone again now though.

Nearly sold out - the last few hundred have gone very quickly.

How can they sell a pair of tickets rows apart? Surely that defeats the purpose of the family enclosure and stretches the club's rules of children under a certain age being accompanied? (Or could it be the ticket was for an under 18 and the rule is under 15?) Can you buy 2 tickets normally that aren't adjacent seats? Thoroughly disappointed.
