I don't understand why Miller is rated so highly, he is always picking up injuries, pace is one thing but I think he's a bit of a Dean Sturridge and won't last long in the game. If we count all the strikers we force to operate as wingers we have more than 4 on the books.

Apart from Gallagher, who clearly isn't a striker, who else do you mean? I know Vassell is meant to be a striker, but it seems clear to me Sven sees him as a winger more than anything.

I would say the senior strikers we now have are Howard, Waghorn, Fryatt and Bednar.

Gallacher definitely isn't a winger, he's a forward of some description. Vassell is a striker and will be for us once match fit.

These comments are slightly more encouraging...

People tend to forget his 1 goal every 2 games scoring ratio in the championship, which helped us to 2 successive promotions to the Premiership.

Agree with Scuba more than repaid his transfer fee, and we would probably still get £2m for him, when he is sold.

Really don't see what there is to hate about Bednar, he's always given 100% for us. Maybe not quite good enough at this level now but he's still a good Championship striker.
