Kee Makes It Perfect Ten
Posted on: Mon 10 Sep 2007
Leicester City's under 18 side kept up their impressive start to the season with a 2-1 victory away at Millwall on Saturday.
Billy Kee scored both of City's goals on the day - taking his tally to an incredible 10 from just four games.
City Academy manager Jon Rudkin said: "While it is nice to win the games, it is more about the performances as far as we are concerned.
"I was pleased with what I saw down at Millwall. We have continued in the same manner as last season - and that is what we had hoped for.
"Trevor (Peake) has moved up to look after the under 18s while Steve (Beaglehole) is involved with the first team, so it's a real team effort.
"Billy (Kee) is in a terrific vein of form at the moment, but he is always the first to congratulate those that are around him and those that are producing the opportunities for him.
"It's about being in the right place at the right time and Billy is certainly getting on the end of things at the moment. Hopefully that will continue."
