It's a white(ish) blob with 3 dots on it for eyes and a mouth.. and a mop of hair on top.. how the hell are you supposed to work it out? :081:

You need a new monitor - I can definitely see 4 dots! Deduction is the method that I often use - but it's failing in this instance.
:icon_wink

I am pretty sure though that the copper whose legs you can see under Large's backside once clipped my ear as I was pushing to get out of the Kop.
:icon_eek:

Comparing it with this pic... Sjoberg (front Left) looks the closest blob with the ears in the right place
squad_1967.jpg

That would be my best guess too.

Richie Norman - looks like Elland Road to me so that would mean the match was played on Sept 23rd 1967

My dads awesome at stuff like this, and he said it's John Sjoberg

Frank Large made his debut in the 6-0 defeat at ManCity in November 67, so if it's him, it can't be Elland Road.

Davie Gibson?

bit tall for him? and hair too dark?

Looks vaguely familiar though.... mmmm...must ponder a while

I'm joining the Sjoberg camp - the hairline is more like his than anyone else in the team picture

Started going in 1944 with my grandad in the War time League..........................Old bastard aint I:081:

I'm coming round to Sjoberg as well now. He and Gibson are the ones with the sticking out ears.

It couldn't be "Marty Feldman" Fern - would've broken the camera :icon_bigg
