The 'none shall past' chains were what swayed it towards City.

I went to New Zealand vs Italy at Welford Road in 1991

they had to put in temporary stands to get it to 16,000

Welford Road's capacity is now 24,000

Pitch too small for Rugby......What an effing joke

Tigers' fans can bleat all they want, they have the second biggest stadium in the city

This would be a disaster for you in terms of the pitch condition. We recently evicted the big footed galoops back to the Arms Park and the turf is exponentially better for it, which will have ongoing benefits through the season for our passing style of football (honest).

If it's wet in 2015 you'll probably need to relay it after 15, twenty stone plus south sea islanders chew it up.

Swansea and Reading must be kicking themselves passing up all those benefits of not ground sharing.

If they can fill the KP then it makes sense, but if it's like 1999 it'll be Italy v Tonga, and I guess the Tonga tifosi need bigger seats than the norm.

Strange decision indeed. I would rather the World Cup was played at Welford Road even if there was financial reward for us.
