But surely we’re not THAT unattractive?
Good question
I’m beginning to think our training ground has become a bit of a curse. Tonnes of money thrown at it. A bit soulless. In the middle of nowhere.

The KP is ****ing dead. It really is.

Upper management know **** all about how to run a football club.

The fanbase sucks. ****ing no noise ever, not even away. No appreciation. Just mardy, entitled ****ers wherever you look.
And there’s your answer. Yes, we are.

I’m not sure managers see it from the same POV as us fans though.

Will Moyes look at and think the fans are miserable, entitled twats with no bollocks? Probably not.

There might well be an open secret within football. LCFC have a duffer as DoF and a board that has no clue how to run things so unproven managers and shitbags only.

You’re probably right. But he’ll know that upper management doesn’t have a ****ing clue what they’re doing. He’ll be aware of the financial mess at the club. He’ll analyze the squad and see how poor it is.

As much of a twat as we all know he is now, Rodgers was the last big-name manager we will attract for a very long time. And maybe that’s not a bad thing. If we had a DOF who could pick out an up and coming manager with something about them, or who could go abroad and find someone, like Palace did when they sacked Hodgson, then we could still be okay. Instead we rush in to hiring a guy because he had a good spell over 5 games at Utd. And I’m not anti-Ruud. But you know that was the sole extent of our reasoning for hiring him.

If, when, we go down we”ll have the chance for a fresh start. Get another Enzo in. Or someone who’s been doing well at that level or below for a prolonged period. Or keep Ruud and back him. But even then whoever is the manager is working with one hand tied behind their back with the idiots working above him. And he’ll be saddled with players he doesn’t want on long-term contracts who we can’t shift.

You don’t know me Joe, I’m not shy to make it happen.

The next match I’m down, you’ll see my banner and an attempt to get coverage. That’s what this needs. Coverage and pressure. Bear in mind I’m in the Middle East right now so rules out the weekend. Next home match is Arsenal. Let’s see if anyone takes notice.
I'll believe it when I see it, mate.

I think Ruud came into this job knowing just how bad things are, I think he would have told top what he requires and that would have been all about this transfer window.

I think we will stay in contention right up until the end of the season, sacking RvN at this stage would be madness imo. If and it is a big if, we can recruit 3 or 4 decent defenders primarily two fast centre backs we stand a good chance of staying in this league.

What do we as a club with signings now? Do we start looking for players to keep us in the league and spend big or do we take the NP approach and look for talented young players and some old pros looking ahead to dominate the championship even with a points deduction?

I’m not sure what it is in Ruud’s past that makes you think he would really comprehend how ****ed this club is at the top.

Way past Man Utd levels this.

I am not implying he is a great manager more that he would be a buffoon if he did not conduct any due diligence prior to accepting the job. If we as fans can see how messed up the club is at the moment, I am pretty sure he would have a good idea as well?

Here’s where I am.

We ****ed up in the summer. We are weaker than the Championship team we were last season. The club needs a big change in their senior management structure. We aren’t being run like a PL club.

This is not the current manager’s fault. A lot on here seem to ignore the fact that he has managed before at a decent level and some of the stuff we have played has been good. The players just don’t cut it. It sadly involves letting go of the silly notion we are good enough now to stay up. We’re not. Unless we can do what Newcastle did in the Jan window a few seasons ago we are ****ed. Worse still, unless we stop running this club in a hapless way we are ****ed.

Just changing horses again won’t improve us. Disc beard won’t improve us. It’s broken.

A banner (in isolation) won’t improve us. What would really help would be if a fan group would mobilise support for change. Back when the Dead Sea was sick I asked @Foxes_Trust in a thread they started whether they would ask the club some important questions. They have been silent since.

So here we are. No potent supporters group to mobilise fans, no PL quality (and I think this team doesn’t bounce back), no leadership or structure.

Buckle up.

I do need to revise my post slightly. It is not a case no ‘no PL quality’. I reserve that just for our defence. The rest is very limited PL quality.

A few articles talking about Rudkin. End of last year an U21 player reposted fans chanting about Rudkin.

And by the Athletic/NY Times suggesting Rudkin is a culprit.

YouTube Leicester channels are talking about it including this video:

The pressure is slowly creeping up.

Also on RVN. How many consecutive defeats can you build up before getting sacked? 10? Surely as a manager, you can’t have more than that.

Really, our play has seen improvement I’d say. You can see what’s trying to be achieved at times. And other times it’s baffling. However, a defeat is a defeat.

Shame for Ruud. None of his players. Awful DoF. Inherited a bunch of crap from Cooper, who had to have had a say for the like of Edouard, Okolie, Skipp etc. PSR rumours/ongoing issues, undetermined transfer budget, disgruntled fans. He shouldn’t have touched us at all.

If RVN keeps us up, it’ll be a bloody miracle. It will be almost as great as the 14/15 season, though admittedly different in nature. If he goes, I want someone with proper experience, some good man-management and some bollocks. We’ll probably just bring in Benitez. Let’s hope it’s with more than 9 matches left.

IF we stay within a win of 17th, AND we lose the next match, I think RVN might be gone. Good time as well. We will still have 16 matches to go.

BTW. A lot of our LCFC YouTube channels are a bit shit but they’re improving. Really good place to get supporter sentiment. Certainly beats Twitter and sometimes it’s nice to have people who know the football club, ranting in the background instead of Danny Murphy and Simon Jordan who haven’t got a clue.

Why don’t you start a little poddy @Jeff

Jesus. A live video version of this place.

On second thoughts, maybe not 🤣

**** that.

I preferred podcasts when they were audio only. Radio on demand.

What possesses people to think that we want to watch them sitting in a chair staring into a camera FFS? Vanity? A secret "oooh I'm on telly" vibe? FFS

I watched a racing one about a year ago & one of the panellists was sitting in her front room. Behind her was a staircase. On the bannister were 4 pairs of knickers & a blouse she'd hung up to dry.
Great news for fetishists I'm sure but doesn't really add to the content.

Well I got a hard on just reading that, so the actual thing must have been magnificent
