We are trying to sign him on loan for a season according to the People. :icon_wink

CHAMPIONSHIP new boys LEICESTER

Championship new boys LEICESTER CITY want Manchester City left-back Ryan McGivern on loan for the season.

Boss Mark Hughes will probably let the 19-year-old Northern Ireland international go to the Foxes for regular football in time for their pre-season programme.

Plausable, is he a big enough signing though? ;)

The addition of a 3rd left-back to the squad probably means Berner will be first choice with this lad as backup, leaving us to hopefully cash in on Mattock.

wot about Powell hes signed on for a year so will be playing backup for Mattock or this new lad. Berner is better in Midfield as backup in the midddle or down the left side or coming on as sub to stabilise as long as he is more up for it than he was against Scunny

Already have two left backs so I don't see why we need another unless this means Mattock is on his way.

We have someone who apparantly doesn't want to play for us, and Chris Powell who is very nearly 40 years old, should he accept the deal he's been offered.

This is an area we definitely need to be looking at!

Mattock? or Berner? I must have missed that

This from our favourite rumours site which might explain the interest in McGivern. :icon_wink

Rumours have it that Liverpool are intrested in signing Leicester City left–back Joe Mattock for around £1.5million

If you are referring to Joe, that's rubbish. Got a link to his family, proud to be playing for us, keen City fan and relating to this if MON came in for him that would be his ideal move (given what MON did for his club)

By that you mean he ****ed us up big time with his ego?

What a ridiculous way to view his time here - how can you possibly attempt to claim that Martin O'Neill's contribution to this club was simply to '**** us up big time'?

He is one of the greatest, if not the best, managers this club has ever had. Any argument you put forward to the contrary is absolutely ludicrous.

A prima donna who gave this little club of mine more in his reign than any other has even got close to....

Honestly...It comes to something when MON gets slagged off on here. Roll on the season, this is absurd.
