would like to say thanks too Beaumontfox for the ticket i never used due to two of my younger kids pucking up as i was getting ready to go :icon_sad: , so didnt make the night ,which was a shame ,but kids come first

Them games of hockey always get in the way when you're trying to go out.

Should never have taken place.

In a way I agree.
But there isn't many times the supporters can interact with the players these days(not that many would want to I reckon!)

I didn't vote for the player of the year, but I did vote for the goal that won-Andy King's v Southampton.

Joe Mattock won the Young Player award and Gareth McAuley won the Player of the Year award from the Disabled SC.

We were half expecting them not to turn up, as normally the players start arriving about 8ish and coming up to 9pm none were there, then we found out Holloway wanted them all to arrive together(safety in numbers?:icon_roll) and most of them buggered off within 1/2 hour after the presentation.

Spoke to Kisnorbo, asked him about his injury, jokingly asked if he'd be fit for next week. aparently until they get the results back, they don't know yet if it's his cruciate-if it is it's a hefty spell on the sidelines.

Holloway was joking away as he normally does doing the awards but he did seem very quiet when talking to the fans and signing autographs etc. I was very good and didn't show Ben up by making any comments which might've got me into trouble. As tempting as it was!

I took my mates kids round to get photos and autographs of them all before they feck off elsewhere apart from Steve Howard(useless lump)

Matt Oakley scrubbed up very nicely though.......

In other words, you bottled it:icon_wink

A week ago you were going to go in all guns blazing. What happened:102:

I read that Derby put their fans forward for the player of the year award. Something similar wouldn't have gone amiss here.
I find it feckin amazin that 23,000 can turn up regularly to watch and support that pile of crap.
Maybe having such a loyal fanbase sends out the wrong message to the players. Just a thought!

Well, it would've upset all the kiddies.....though I'm sure David Bell could hear every word I said whilst IH was doing his speeches.(We were stood next to him at the bar) None of it was complimentary towards anyone tbf.

Seriously, if it had been within an hour of the game I wouldn't have been able to stop meself, but by that time of the evening I just didn't really care.

But not quite as much as the cowardly bastards upset the kiddies earlier by not coming back out to thank them for their support.

To be fair they would have been greeted with thousands of extremely angry and upset fans. I was giving them hell at full-time. They can thank us with passion and pride in their playing displays - not by some crappy clapping at the end of a game.

Most of the extremely upset and angry fans had left leaving mainly the BM's and the kids.

I know what you are saying, but they should have been made to come back out.
