A bit shit but I suppose I'm not the main target group for it. My little sister enjoyed it.

my daughter is going with her mates, so i'll miss out there....

Did take the boy to city of ember this morning, which he gave 8/10

I was going to go but was told by a friend it's not all that great and is a bit of a romantic/love/shit/gay type movie. Not my cup o' brew.

casino was like a proper film, none of your smarmy eyebrow raising. no ridiculous stunts either like running over crocs or falling out of a plane and skydiving back in. QOS has had really poor reviews, but i'm still looking forward to it.

Saw it tonight, really liked it, had the right balance of comedy and drama. Gervais was great in it. Best film i've seen in the cinema for a long time.

Also for anyone who listens to the ricky gervais podcasts, do you remember Karl talking about a film he suggested involving someone who could contact the dead on the FAME podcast? Its a bit like ghost town.

No I never saw that.I remember I saw it in Walton-on-Thames at some manky cinema.

No you're not, complete shower of shit.

I would fight my way out of any room that had a Bond movie playing in it, and I'd be fighting dirty to get away from it as quickly as possible.

Got 5 stars in the Lochaber News so thats swung it for me.Wouldn't mind seeing Stone of Destiny either.However this looks unlikely seeing has I haven't a pot to piss in at the moment

Luckily the cinemas have their own toilet facilities down here so I get as often as possible.



House - Did not quite understand why, completely unexplained tosh 3/10


Gone baby gone - Also a bit weird but quite entertaining 5/10

The Machinist - 7/10. A very hardgoing storyline but superb acting from Christian Bale.

The Wire Series 4 (every night, up to episode 7) - 10/10 Brilliance.

Drillbit Taylor - 6/10 - Not bad, funny in places.

Transamerica - 7.5/10 - Funny and touching, some good tranny acting.

My dad hated the fact that the droids have a sense of humour, and the fact that clones all have different accents!

Not seen it myself so can't comment.

Watched the Alien quadrilogy for the first time over the weekend:

Alien - 6/10 - I can see why it was so big at the time, but I think it has lost some of the suspense for the current generation
Aliens - 8/10 - Much better, good 80's action!
Alien3 - 7/10 - Another good 'un, like seeing Weaver in all this underwear!
Alien Ressurection - 7/10 - Was expecting another "new" version of a good series, in the same vein as Batman Forever, but was much better than expected. The tealeaf is very cute!

saw the new james bond film last night, enjoyed it. Thought that sometimes the editing was done by someone on speed.
