Transporter 3 - enjoyed the first two and like Jason statham but the woman here was incredibly annoying and the story was just full of holes - stupid 3/10

Outlander - 5/10

Gran Torino 9/10 Superb. One of the saddest films I've ever seen and despite it's location, it's very relevant to the UK too.

I will be going to see this on Wednesday, I hope it's as good as it looks.

Highly recommended German flick.
Not as highly recommended as this German Flick

Foot Fist Way - quality deadpan comedy about a tae kwon do instructor - 8/10

A complete history of my sexual failures - start is ok but then you realise the all the funny bits are in the trailer and the rest of the film will be sh1t, middle is sh1t and the end is sh1t - 2/10

saw 'in bruges' tonight, absolutely terrific. apart from the stupid shooting at the end. loved it.

Watchmen, not sure what to expect, but can see why it's an 18, 7/10
Taken, don't wanna **** with liam, 8/10

I liked Taken too

Watched 7 pounds tonight. Was a little slow and weird but had an ending that made me think I quite enjoyed it 6/10.

Paul Blart Mall cop yesterday watched 20 minutes and gave up - too slow and nothing to it for me, my son watched the rest and seemed to enjoy it.

Saw a clip of this that looked quite funny, but thought it might be a stretch to fill a whole film

I think that's a good summary.

Quantum of solace - good action movie 7/10
Gran torino - really liked it 8/10

Happy-Go-Lucky 6/10.

Mike Leigh's happy film. Rather peculiar set-up and conclusion. Feels more like a stage play but it's nice to see 'real Britain' in film. Got rather annoyed at the over-use of a flute as the backing soundtrack.

Just finished 'Juno'. Second of the three 'pregnancy' films from 2007 that we have watched recently, having just had a second little 'un ourselves, after having watched 'Waitress' recently. Enjoyed them both, they were both nice little films but hardly groundbreaking, even though the subject matter isn't my usual movie genre. Pretty even, I'd probably say Juno was the better of the two.

Forgot to add that I thought the soundtrack to Juno was superb. From itunes I see that a lot of the tracks were from Bella and Sebastian, never really got into them before.
