Exactly, but the moment you take somebody else's life without permission, wouldn't you say you give up the right to yours?
Two wrongs and all that.

You're saying it's wrong to kill and then do that same thing to the killer? Nonsensical to me.

I'm sure they'll get a few good kickings when inside, at least there's that to appease us.

No doubt they will get a beating the lowlifes deserve.

However, whether you agree with me or not, is not of my concern.

Sometimes an eye for an eye is the only option, I believe this is one of those occasions.

If we had a better deterrent, would this atrocity still be committed? A hypothetical question.

I believe your hypotheses is incorrect, so yes, this atrocity would sadly still have been committed.

I'm saying it's all about equality and the standards you set for yourself.

If you're prepared to take a life, you should be prepared to surrender one.

If its proved beyond a doubt, then string the ****ers up. If they get life then never let the bastards out.

I would stand forward to put the ****s out.

Being proved beyond doubt is the basis for any conviction, people are still wrongly convicted though.

Ian Huntley,

Colin Pitchfork
etc etc etc

All those ****s should swing, if the odd one gets through so what. Not many got through before and with todays forensics they are usually 100% sure.

all old convictions. With todays technology if there was doubt it would show up. Guildford 4 and Maguire 7 I am still not convinced.

And didn't Bentley get strung up because the other one who did the killing was too young to be hung?

I hadn't realised you were so trusting of the old bill and the 'technology' at their disposal, I know I ****ing am not.

I don't think so, but it was definitely an unsafe conviction.

bentley was the one who shouted "let him have it". So I think he was fairly disposed of. If the little **** was not robbing a factory he would not have been done would he.

Colin Pitchfork was well and truly caught by DNA which was not around years ago. I knew Pitchfork, I went to school with him.

You think he was fairly disposed of? Hanged for uttering the words "let him have it".

Bentley was border line retarded and there is no consensus to what he was referring to when he said those words. Therefore his conviction was more than unsound and his hanging is a shame on your country and its legal system.

Fair point. And one a number of posters on here might think about while working through their porn collections....

he was hung because the prosecution had to prove that he knew the other lad had a revolver on him right at the onset of breaking into the factory. I cannot remember the name of the other lad Simon Craig or something, but he was renowned for carring a piece on theiving missions, so bentley knew very well what could happen, retard or not.
The reference to his words did have 2 meanings, but he knew what he meant. But backin the 50's it was a well known phrase that meant exactly what happened. "Let him have it" meant shoot him. The other lad was released from prison after serving 12 years or there abouts. I would never have released him either.
