Was waiting until the fool has gone before buying, may not bother at all now.

Surely with ST going up and game generally attracting less fans there will be a big increase of special offers.

The club are stupid beyond beleve, there going to piss St holders big time, unless you have a decent seat why buy.

32,000 seats to sell:icon_roll.

Hmmmm.......This is all turning a tad sour.

Wait until the announcement about tickets for a single match!!

If they go up by the same percentage as season tickets it will continue the trend of recent years, making season tickets attractive by offering big savings compared to paying match by match.

Most clubs don't offer that much of a saving when buying season tickets.

So we'll be in the odd situation where the cheapest season tickets at Leicester are amongst the cheapest in the third division, but matchday tickets will be much more expensive than most.

Which means that the ST's who don't want to renew are either going to be picking few games to go to, or paying more than an ST price.

That's one of the reasons why once again, I will be going to more away matches than home.

Of course, if they go up by the same percentage as season tickets, the percentage saving will be exactly the same as last year. But the monetary saving will be greater. Looking at the figures, I think we can expect tickets for a single game to cost £25 a time - stand by for discounts as attendances plummet.

or taking advantage of the daft amount of offers the club have to do to generate a decent crowd.

wer've been relgated not promoted

We'll see if hard-man Aldridge gives any away.
He may not care if the ground is half-empty.
He's reported to be on a crusade next season to make sure those naughty boys at the back sit down.

Which may make the Walkers Stadium the most expensive place to watch a match in Division three. Most clubs in the division charge around £18-20 for the cheapest seats - and it's often the same price for the best seats.

It may of course be that they have decided that the ST discount (over single match tickets) is too much and a taking steps to reduce it. I doubt if they would leave the price altogether unchanged, but we could see a 'less than 10%' rise up to £24 per game (less than 5%, in fact).

You mention that the ST discount is relatively high at Leicester. I am sure you know that it was not always so. I had a ticket in the Carling Wing at Filbert Street for several years - the maximum saving over individual tickets was £5: that's £5 for the season, not per individual match! One season, the ST cost £8 more than the total of the individual matches - but people were happy to pay it to be sure of their seats in a relaively full stadium.

You could be right.

He may get a fairly quick reality check.

Were in the East mids not the smoke, third division, joke of a manager (at the mo), got to burn furniture and old credit cards to keep warm and convert our vehicles into Flintstone cars.
