If you go to the ticket office, you can pay the extra to turn it into an ordinary adult ticket for the day. They will take the relevant voucher out of the booklet and give you an individual ticket for the game.
Having said that, if the turnstile operator is not being vigilant, your mate might get in on the season ticket without a problem but nobody (well almost nobody) in this forum woiuld condone that sort of behaviour. I say "almost nobody" because I am aware of one person here who gets in every week on a season ticket that is not appropriate to his age - and another who regularly travels on MML with a Senior Railcard discounted tickets, despite him not only not having a Senior Railcard, but also being more than 20 years too young to get one (he's a daft bugger, because if he gets caught once he will have to pay for a standard single to get to Leicester and a saver singel for the return - thereby costing him far more than he saves in a year of travelling to the match.)
The other thing about sorting the ticket out properly is if your mate is stopped at the gate, he is then going to have to go to the ticket office and queue and risk missing the kick-off.
i get kids tickets for away games:icon_lol: only ever been challenged once when i was 18 by some brummy prick at villa, i gave me correcct date of birth, cos i was pissed and could work out what it should be, the dozy tosser still let me in
Something that will always be condoned... nay, encouraged!!
The only reason I stopped buying child tickets for away games was getting married, and that they might spot the wedding ring.
Is that a sweet? Brilliant, I could eat the evidence!!you might still get away with it though
I picked my ST up this morning, i'm in E1 3rd row back.
Not sure if i'm going down early enough for a drink, but if i do will anyone be in the 1884 bar?
