Well, (providing I can pay it off in installments) I will be renewing my season ticket, because, despite the crap football served up this season, there is a part of me that has LCFC running through the core.
If I didn't go to the footy each week, I really don't know what I'd do, I have a round trip of over 100 miles, but the buzz never fades. I drive up the M1 looking for rival teams to wave at, listen to the inane ramblings of RL as I get closer, look for my regular parking spot at the rowing club, or trawl the back streets if it's full.
I park up and join the other hundreds as I walk to the ground drinking in the whole Saturday experience, buy my program, have a wander through the club shop and on to the 1884 for quick pint and a glimpse of the ever loverly Maxine.
I walk round to the South Stand, trying to decipher some of the number plates out the front of the main entrance, a quick glimpse and a moment of peace from the garden of remembrance, then round the corner, through the turnstile andIi'm in. A burger and a coffee and then up tha stairs and catch a first glimpse of the pitch and the team out warming up.
Yes, I could probably do the same on a week by week basis, but, I WANNA BE A SEASON TICKET HOLDER!!!
