I don't know what other sides in League 1 were charging last season, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have been that much. Obviously there'll be the odd exception like Leeds who would probably charge around the same as us. But to be honest, as much as I love watching Leicester, especially when they're winning, £22 was a bit too much for League 1 football.

nearly 19000

Yeah right !!

:icon_bigg

Who the **** knows how many the club have sold, and who the **** really cares. I cannot see why somebody should ask this question....:102:

It's nearly as annoying as adding the cost of food, drink and a programme to the cost of a ticket and moaning it's too expensive. I have look at all the small print on a ticket and buying these things is not compulsary.

It always annoys me when people count these things into the cost of going to a football match. The ticket cost and travel are the only required expenses, the rest are your choice. You don't go on a night out in town and say "feck me I know the pubs are free to get in, but when you've added in the cost of the beer and kebab it's such a rip off"

:038: anyone who reads my regular spoutings of shite (see link. Or not. Probably best not actually) will know that I only count ticket and travel costs in my final total, food and peripheral activities are entirely of my own choosing and not incurred by the trip itself.

MHS gets others to buy for him.

Compared to what?

A concert ticket for about a 90 minute performance would probably cost at least twice that in a big venue with a large audience - and they might not play the songs you like!
On the other hand (literally) you can stay at home wanking, which is considerably more fun than football or concerts... and it's free!

But you would not then have 25000 fans chanting Desi Fox is a Wanker! Desi Fox is a Wanker!

:038: Yes!

Try telling your kids they aint getting a drink and a packet of crisps
Well pop into Morrison's before the game and buy a multipack of crisps and a pack of Fruitshoot for them, where it will work out to be considerably cheaper.

While I don't like to compare ourselves with the Sheep, does anyone know why Derby manage to consistently average around 10,000 more season ticket holders than we do?

Better fans? Not so tight fans?.......:102:

Maybe the area is just more into football. People in Leicester have the Tigers to go and watch if they want, and I remember a few years ago when the club was trying to get more of the ethnic minorities in the city going to more matches, which I don't think worked.

Tigers plays a big part in it. The one horse Sheep shagger town has no competition.

Still, our season ticket sales are not very good.

Well, not entirely free, but pig's liver is not too expensive
