For our corners in the second half, Leeds left nobody upfield and we still had 3 defenders back!! Half the time including Johnasson who would give us more height in the box and is hardly going to catch anyone if leeds broke anyway :icon_roll

Short corners almost always go wrong, and often don't even result in a cross coming in. Why anyone bothers with them is beyond me.

Now that we have got some height and a bit of heading ability in the side, we might as well take the sort of corners that actually work - a big lump into the box with the likes of McAuley, Kisnorbo, Horsfield, Nissa, etc, attacking them. Surely that makes sense?

I didn't go last night, so I can't comment on last night's corners; but for the past 2/3 seasons our set pieces have been very poor. Long gone are the days when other teams feared our set pieces :icon_sad:

But then they were the days wherein that was pretty much our most likely way of scoring. Over the past few seasons we have decided against doing that at all very much.....
