Ecuador was - and I imagine still is - stunning. Quito's a great city, the Andes are impressive, the cloud forests truly amazing. I'd recommend it to anyone.

What is the situation with Nicky Adams? Technically he is not as good as King or Cleverley but he is extraordinarily brave, energetic and certainly good enough for this division in an emergency.

Warnock has fallen out with Scowy because he wouldn't go out on loan. He could have been a short term target for us in terms of a Howard replacement/back-up.

One of them has played 40 games this season, the other 35. How many more would you expect them to have played? I would hardly think that being a replacement player a whole division lower would be a thing to give them more confidence.
Who would I recommend? Nobody. I would leave that to the people who know what they are doing.
