When Dublin has played recently as centre half he has been awesome and won nearly everything in the air. He is just no good up front anymore, except maybe for corners/free kicks, if someone could get the ball past the first defender and away from the goalie!

And we are two small and weak and muscled off the ball. If we had a couple of stronger guys they could stop the goalie coming out for the ball at corners.

But because he is so slow we play very deep with him in defence

i too noticed at corners apart from mdv we have no big lads to aim any more ? once we had elliot,prior and gerry bearing down on the defence :icon_cry:

nope, never said it did, from what ive seen lately Ians got quite good ball control.

becuase 20% of the poulation are gay and we have 20% of our team is allegedly gay, wouldnt want to go against the statistics would we. Statistics rule for so many people on here, when in truth statitics mean nothing, as did my off the cuff comment for most people on here. If you want to delete it go ahead.

Just wondered why you'd come out with a comment like you did, makes me think there's a prejudice there even if it's something you don't admit to yourself.

If you'd said we don't want any more black players would you have expected it to be brushed off as just an off the cuff comment?
