Looks good to me Steve.

Cheers Duzzer, although I dont actually think it will be the team CL picks, I fully expect Kisnorbo and Sylla to both start and for Hume to spend 90 minutes getting piles whilst sat on the cold chairs of the subs bench !

I've said my piece on one of the other threads, but this is how we should line up.

--------------Douglas--------------

Maybury-McCarthy-Gerrbrand-Gilbert

Smith--Williams--Gudjonsson--Hamill

----------Hume--de Vries----------

Subs: Henderson, Stearman, Sheehan, Hughes, Hammond.

Obviously this has to change following yesterday's news. I'll put Kisnorbo in the LB slot, as apparently this is where he flourished initially for Hearts, if it doesn't work we go back to Nissa.

Hopefully with all this speculation about Warnock going to Pompey their team might be a bit disruptted tomorrow and we can take advantage.

Wishful thinking but I need to come away from a match cheerful just once!

Douglas

Maybury McCarthy Gerrbrand Nissa

Hammond Joey Hughes Smith/Hamill

Hume De Vries

Subs - Kisnorbo, Williams, Dublin, Stearman, Henderson

But it will probably be:

Douglas

Maybury McCarthy Gerrbrand Stearman

Sylla Kisnorbo Joey Hughes/Smith

Hammond De Vries

Subs - Dublin, Hamill/Hughes, Nissa, Henderson, Hume

Everyone seems to have missed out Tiatto?? :icon_lol:
Everyone seems to have good taste. Whenever I see Tiatto playing the words " headless chicken " come into my mind for some unfathomable reason.:icon_cry:

in front of a firing squad would be the best position for Tiatto.... :icon_lol:

When I've seen Tiatto have a decent game he has been at leftback. He does show a bit more discipline, and can overlap the left mid. When he plays left mid he tracks inside too far, leaving the midfield too narrow, (look at the Brighton game) and the left back too exposed.
On Saturday I'd play him leftback, and give dizzy a bit of roughing up (legally of corse ;) )

Henderson

Maybury Gerrbrand McCarthy Stearman

Smith Joey Hughes Hamill

Hume DeVries

Williams,Porter,Sheehan,Douglas,Chambers

If Smith is injured then I would play Sheehan at LB,move Stearman to RB and put Maybury RW.

If DeVries is out (and let's face it, he might not be the best goalscorer in the world but we're fcuked if he doesn't make it and Dion - put me out to pasture i'm clearly passed it I should have retired when I left Villa don't think i'll score another goal between now and the end of my career - Dublin has to play instead) but if MDV is out I would drop Williams into midfield and play with Hume on his own up-front.

It's time that Sylla, Hammond, Dublin and Tiatto - all of whom will OF COURSE be involved in the 16 on Saturday because after all, they are "Levein's boys" - it's time they were all told to get lost and were left as far away from the Walkers Stadium as possible.... For Good.

If we can contain the blades to single figures, I'll go to bed a happy man tomorrow night...
