I was still too angry with the ref to pay too much attention, to me it did look like Rab saved it initially.

Saw it on the news highlights and it deff looked like he spilled it. But lets not cry over spilt footballs or milk for that matter. Although it can be really annoying when you spill milk, you have to tidy it etc, never worth crying over though.

Just had a look at the highlights on World. It seems pretty clear that Elvis was glaring at an area of the Kop whilst not celebrating his goal. Anybody here sit in F1/E3? What have you done to upset him?

i sit in E3, all we did to piss him off was be astounded that he missed the easiest shot he will ever get the chance to score just prior to scoring a slightly harder one.

The first one could also be described as an absolutely brilliant stop by thier keeper.

I would say our area (I sit in F1) did more to support Elvis than most. do do do do Elvis Hammond, do do do do Elvis Hammond.

I saw his celebration as more of an out pouring of emotion than and relief after missing the two best chances he could have had all season. His head clearly dropped after he missed the first two and for a period looked like he couldnt really be ar53d. I think really it was just relief at getting his first goal in front of the mighty blue and white kop.
