Actually, it isn't in our hands.

It is. Wednesday v Blackpool on Sat'dee - what ever the outcome, as along as we win at Oakwell, we will be out of the relegation zone. They will be no games in hand to consider.

Then we beat Wednesday....simple really and that's it. Can't be catched.

We have to win back to back - simple. If we lose on Saturday, it's over.

No. The fat lady is currently booked for the end of the Sheffield Wednesday game. Until then there can not be anything for her to sing.

She has also been asked to keep her diary clear for a trip to Stoke-on-Trent the following Sunday.

Sadly I suspect that she will be off on her holidays by then, her job already having been done and dusted......

If Wednesday and Blackpool draw, 2 wins does it.

If Wednesday lose, 2 wins does it.

If Blackpool lose, 2 wins doesn't do it.

That said - anything other than a Wednesday win despite our result sees a roll-over and a date with destiny in Stoke On Trent.

Did anybody else think the Plymouth goalie could have just caught the ball rather then palming the ball into the top corner?

i thought sheff wednesday played quite well they shouldve won really but glad they didnt - obviously

Sad thing is Hazz, we have not done back to back wins for a year, so I just can not see us doing it :icon_sad:

Not 100% given up, but could well have done after our trip to sunny Barnsley!

From what I saw, which wasn't a great deal, what they lacked in skill they made up for in passion and determination. Two things that sadly we seem to lack

Not necessarily - i think we need 4 more points to be virtually safe. Hopefully Blackpool won't get more than 52 points. A win over Wednesday and a point in a tense encounter with Stoke who may have settled by then for a play off place isn't unthinkable.

But back to the Wednesday /Plymouth game. As HF points out, Wednesday put in a lot of effort and played with passion.

Sorry to harp on about hapless Ollie - but one of his most irritating traits is to treat supporters like total idiots. His current line is that his team doesn't lack effort and is just blatant nonsense. One of the main reasons that we are in this wretched situation is because of lack of effort by highly paid underperforming players.

If we go down - I trust that a) he goes and b) that someone acknowledges that the players have let everyone down through lack of effort. In fact the same applies even if we don't go down.

If we don't go down, and I sincerely hope we don't, then I worry a lot of the problems will be swept under the carpet.

We'll be fine, chill out.

Blimey, only just seen this result.

There can't be many more nails left can there!!!!!, Must be fcuking big coffin the carrot cruncher's built for himself.
