Simply because there is an uneven treatment in the coverage of this tragedy with those that are as a consequence of US/Western foreign policy.

This story will run for days on the news but a CIA drone killing forty people at a wedding, including innocent women and children, will get a thirty second mention somewhere in the news.

As I said before I do not condone violence in any form but I am sure it is a wake up call for many Governments and politicians in the West.

People shouldn't be wandering the streets with guns? Politicians should never go near the public? Not sure what you're saying really.

You can try to apply logic, but that's not possible when you're talking about the behaviour of extremists. From what Dessie said earlier in the thread, it seems she was targeted for not being a right-wing lunatic.

I'm just a simple person whose education isn't as good as others(not going school for the last two years of my school life might have summat to do with that) but whatever you might think of any US involvment in certain issues, surely nobody can seriously think that a person in any way deserves to be a target for trying to actually be good at their job?

I dunno much about politics, but it does seems as though far too many are easily bought and in it for what they can get but not all of them are like that! Strange as it might seem, there are some folk in politics who do really care about their job and do their best to serve the people they represent, whether it be on a local level or national one.

Everyone is entitled to their views but imo Steven the way you worded your views on this certainly makes you look a bit of a twat.

I think logic suffered somewhat while they were killing innocent adults and children, yes. Are you saying that the loss of hundreds of lives was a logical result of their alleged political aims?

So why did they not go into a crowded cinema and shoot that up. Surely if they are insane and just want to kill someone then this would be the easiest way to do it?

You are not looking at what is in front of you. A politician is the main target.

I do not know what the motivation is and is most likely not connected to anything other than US domestic issues.
