I find it absolutely amazing that a 19 year old left back who has played twice in the championship, and now the knob jockeys are calling for Chambers, a 16 year old school kid who has played 1 minute of first team football, are now being hailed as the two players to save our sorry season and turn us into the championship's equivalent of Brazil. Who's idea was it to let these cooonts out into society.
The one thing that cannot be levelled at Levein, is that he doesnt give youth a chance, so maybe he feels Sheehan has a little more to learn, and i find this all out attack philosophy absolute bollox, Jose Moriniho(sp) has assembled possibly the finest squad of players in Europe, and yet he still places a strong emphasis on defending well as individuals and as a team, look at Real Madrid, they have a team full of attacking flair and they tried playing champagne football last season and ended up empty handed. Levein is getting his tactics right, we have IMO apart from Wolves away gone out to win every game this season, on some occasions it has worked and on others like on saturday it doesnt quite come off, but now because of the defensive stability we are more likely to pick up points, if you cant win the game then surely the next best result is to draw. But in the world of Thracian and his little band of disciples it is better to lose 4 - 3 every game, but at least be entertaining, I mean I am sure that would be a crumb of comfort for CL when he has been sacked and labelled tactically inept, anyone remember Keegan's philosphy however entertaining, it still managed to blow a 12 point lead, I bet he wished now that he had maybe nicked a few 0 - 0 draws along the way, and maybe then he could just have delivered that title.
By the way Babylon, keep winding the feckers up, that is the real entertainment !
