I have just apologised for getting paterson mixed up with somebody else. And yes macheda isn't doing too well but he does play for man utd which doesn't exactly give him a lot of games.I think he has showed a lot of skill when he has played.

I dont know his name ( I thought it was paterson) but I can remember he couldnt buy a goal for most of the first half of this season.

The only Burnley strikers we could loan are Fletcher, Paterson, Blake, Macdonald or Thompson. MacDonald is a youth player who has barely played, whilst I'd be happy to see any of the others here (though there is no chance of getting Blake or Fletcher as they are playing fairly regularly).

We don't seem to score playing hoof ball either. Signing a player like Iwelumo will only increase the limitations of our strike force. We already have Howard and Kermo to play that type of role. We need a player who can come in and fulfill the role played by Fryatt and provide us with an out and out goalscorer.
However I really do not see us bringing anybody else in and Pearson will be forced to cobble together a potent combination from Howard, Kermo, N'Guessan, Waghorn and Gallagher.
