Anybody know anything about this?
I have it on good authority that Milan Mandaric has already held two interviews with Larry about next season. Which backs up what a mate said to me the other week about hearing the pair had been seen together in the Yews at Great Glen (although thats hearsay).

Personally I hope its not true, I like Ollie and believe if we give him a good 18months or so we will start to see the rewards.

If it continues to go tits up and Ollie's gone, then it's our next avenue.

why is it??? surely we'll be better off with an older head in charge weve done the up-and-coming-manager scenario with allen and to an extent holloway??

We need an older experienced Manager, keep having these young up andcoming Managers and it gets us nowhere.Actually finding one is a completely different story.

We need a kit kat

Peter Reid?

Max Bygraves

And what was Martin O'neill then?

I personally don't think Mandaric has a clue about managers, he went through god knows how many at Pompey before he got lucky with one and so far at City he's gone through 5.
Were constantly hearing rumours of him having secret meeting with different managers, he needs to learn to be a bit more patient.
Sticking with Ollie is the best option, it's the only way a club can progress.

That's one hell of a statement.

Does that mean every manager in the world will turn out to be good if the club keeps them on for long enough?

Nice how you picked out Martin O'Neil but avoided mentioning Craig Levein,Peter Taylor,Martin Allen and to lesser extents Ian Holloway and Micky Adams

Are we ??

Apart from this nonsense thread I haven't heard a single rumour about him having secret meetings with anyone - other than very lazy journalistic twaddle about Dowie

It would be good if they did hey :icon_wink

Nah, look all I'm saying is I believe success comes with continuity and the managerial merry-go-round weve had recently and player turn over are the main reasons we are where we are.
Lets give him a good 18months and then see where we are.

I would love it to work out for IH with Leicester. I have no ill feeling or anger at him personally unlike some of the more emotive mails on the subject.....but it is in 3 game stime after the season is ended his fate should be decided.

Hi Ollie, do you think you need 18 months to find a new job?

I believe success comes with continuity.
Agreed, but under Holloway we are continually shite. Not the sort of continuity I'd be looking for. You do actually need to see a glimour of hope in what you intend to gain continuity with.

Do you not think we are playing quite a bit of better football now than the last few years, even a little bit? With some confidence and time (time we can ill aford granted) we will start scoring the chances we are creating?
