i'm awaiting for sky to upgrade my package, I've only got the BBC HD preview channel to watch at the minute and I'm bored of it

I don't get the hype surrounding HD to be honest. Digital tv is clear enough, it's not like you're going to see more by upgrading.

the advantages of changing from Analogue to Digital made it worth it, but to HD? i'm not gonna bother. just another way to get more money out of us.

We've got it - there aren't a great deal of HD channels at the moment but apparently they are all going to be that way eventually. Sky movies 9 and 10 are both available in HD and its clear there is a better difference in quality. You can record/pause live tv etc. I think on this you can record one sky channel while watching another.

you are very wrong Nathan, Ive just seen Meltons system running and HD is truly stunning. Some of the scenes I saw on the Discovery HD channel were jaw dropping.

You could make out each invidual piece of stubble and you also could see the wampy nuts and cling ons. The hairs around the nips weren't too attractive either

Sky+ is the best modern day viewing invention. It is superb

A lot of Sky+ boxes out there (including mine) wont be able to use all the new functionality they are launching in the new year so I'm not overly gutted anyway :icon_bigg

Sky havent said yet but its beleived to be an auto recording feature which constantly records stuff wether you ask it to or not just in case you miss something and forgot to + it. Its not clear wether this will incorporate a learning feature so the box 'understands' what programmes you like but knowing sky it will do
