Sousa still involved with the club

Sure he didn't say/mean that he's still being paid by Leicester? We're probably still paying off his contract I'd imagine.

No, what he said was that he is still in contact with the owners and he helps them with some footablling concepts. Nothing to do with managers or players.

If I'd have known they were after some footablling concepts I'd have thrown my hat into the ring.

Sorry, am I meant to believe NP and RS are taking tips from Sousa?

It was really hard to follow completely what Sousa was on about, but it seems that Top and his dad are taking advice from Sousa about the way to run a football club. There was no mention of any relationship between him and manager/coaches.

I'm sure that he is still being dripped the money due to him under his contract but that is not what he was talking about. He was clearly saying that he acts in a consultant role.

Possibly - the timing of his comment seems a bit strange to me.

Bizarre might be a better word - and I'm not only talking about the timing.

He was at the match last night, which was a tad strange. Especially considering his appearance at the end of the last NP season.

I don't like the sound of this. Sousa was at the club for about five minutes as manager and the only thing he could teach anyone is how to be inept.

This and the rise in season ticket prices could mean the stadiums empty next season. Surely they wouldn't, would they?

All sense and reason tells me that they wouldn't.

I can think of some good in respect of every single manager I can remember - this takes me back to Norman Bullock onwards - even Peter the tw-t Taylor - in the context that he took us to the top of the first tier for the first time since Easter Tuesday 1963 (and yes I was there).... but I can't think of anything at all positive about Sousa - except he had nice Italian shoes.

The greasy toad is worming his way back in.

I can certainly see why they would be taking advice from the man that brought us Michael Lamey and Moreno.

Wasn't there some chap on this forum who sent Sven advice on what players he ought to bring in. Paulo probably has just as much influence.
I am under the impression that apart from the Pearson-Shakespeare-Walsh trinity the person who influences the board on the football side is Andrew Neville.
