I don't think it would have been fair to give them a bollocking before the match. It could have upset the players and made them play like clueless amateurs.

It's very difficult to accept that we are in this situation - useless manager, chairman who is touting himself to the opposition, owners(?) who haven't a clue about the club or game.

I assume that MM is just hanging on to recoup as much of his money as possible - and there is no one at the Walkers who is bothered enough to try to sort things out.

Well Steve Cotterill had no problems with his team talk before last nites game as all he had to do was refer to the Cup match and show the article from Sousa on the eve of the game about giving a Club "a real beating" which perhaps Sousa thought was going to be the Portsmouth match.

They certainly came out the blocks fighting and were winning the challenges Cotterill had obviously got them worked up.
We hardly looked up for it until we were 4-0 down.
