At this point and from the evidence from Puel's selections we need to start having a bit more belief. We don't see these players day-in, he does. Let the man prove us wrong. Great performance all around really. Some world class attacking play in the first half blew Southampton away and they really aren't a bad side. In the second half Southampton changed things up and for a while got back in the game. We defended well for the most part. That old Achilles heel of conceding from a set piece reared it's head again but we just don't have a lot of height in the team, especially at the back where it's important in those situations. We need to try and cut down on making silly fouls outside the box as that often will lead to a corner if not a chance direct from the free kick.

Anyway, Liverpool and Arsenal have both dropped 2 points today so we're well in with a chance of pinching a place in Europe and the top 6 if this keeps up!
