The most amazing thing with Shinji at the moment is he seems to be scoring goals in a way a player would intend to, the farce in the winning goal against Newcastle was cruelly taken away from him. Once he gets back to getting those goals with his nostril hair, arse and knees it'll be hattricks every game.

Look at his little ****ing face...

I know loads of them packed off but where were most of the fans during the first half? They are in a decent position in the league and there was loads of empty seats.

People will remember how crap Southampton were but the way I see it is that it was a squad and formation picked to our class them and that’s exacrlt what we did, they are a decent side and could not handle us. Puel showed us his talents tonight

Much like when they abused a manager who finis finished 8th and took them to a cup final.

Soton fans are about as entitled as Spurs and Arsenal.

Told you we wouldn't smash them with that team.....

Oh what fun to read the comments in the match thread before the goals started flying in. I can usually spot irony but some of the comments were serious when questioning and criticising the starting line up. Still early days but my underwhelming feelings when Puel was appointed have all but vanished. What a stroke of genius to appoint this guy.

The improvement of Ndidi, Gray and Chilwell since Whispering Claude arrived is very pleasing. Looks like they've actually had some coaching and instruction.

I felt that we had made to many changes but having watched the extended Sky highlights the score flattered the Saints and we played extremely well. Vardy was sublime in some of his play and appears to be a complete player, linking well and the lay off to Shinji was top class.

Told you he was good.

Mocked me and my use of the word transition they did, the same people having a pop last night.

I hope Puel has a nice little smug moment over his latte this morning. He’s entitled to it after his side put 4 past the team that sacked him for being negative. Love it!

Just had a proper look through this. Absolutely brilliant, and their mindset is - still - the same as all of the teams when we won the premier league. "Oh, it's only little old Leicester".
When will people realise that we are an established premier league club that was underperforming? This squad is not wholly different from the squad that won the league...

Maybe I read too quickly but I didn't get that sense. Mostly saw Saints fans rightly criticising an embarrassment of a performance
