Didn't once criticise his players.

CLAUDIO: "Last two matches I've changed the shape to try to help the players find a solution, but maybe I've made mistakes." #SouLei

Just heard him after the game. Sorry, Claudio but you're absolutely wrong to take full responsibility for that result.

He said that he changed the formation and that was the wrong thing to do.

What about the ten defeats we've had playing the same as we did last season?

Good to hear that, but there is so much more wrong than just the formations. This back four is utterly feeble. It's admirable to say that players have to be of the right personality as well as ability etc when searching for additions to the squad but we are fecking desparate for wholesale changes in defence or it will get us relegated.

CLAUDIO: "There are no excuses. Southampton were the better team and deserved to win. But I take responsibility for our shape." #SouLei

Awful. Awful awful stuff. Just terrible.

Crap at the back and toothless up front.

For the first time this season, I'm now worried about us being in a relegation fight.

Drinkwater, Fuchs and Morgan all deserve a special mention for the levels of shit they showed today

Claudio blames himself for changing the formations. Three at the back v Chelsea and a diamond today. He says it will be back to last years formation.

However T.Henry and G Souness are spot on. Its about a loss of desire.

I would include Vardy in that as well, granted the service is poor but last season his work rate was unbelieveable he would literally run himself into the ground, today I doubt he will even need a shower.

If this same lot goes down it undoes so much of what they did last year, not just for the club but their own reputations. I would hope, at some point, self preservation will win out.

I ****ing hate Souness but he's spot on. These lot don't look bothered.

Sourness and Henry also made the point that the tried and tested has hardly been a roaring success this season either, too much player power it would seem.

If the lack of desire is 'in the players heads', I cannot see how changing the manager will help.
.

Really? Never heard of motivation?

If the players were giving absolute everything and just not getting the results, then in that circumstance a change of manager wouldn't help.

Remember away at Stoke when we showed character and fight and fought back from adversity. That was without Drinkwater and Vardy. DROP THE USELESS ****ERS!

Been saying it for ages now, we are in trouble.

Utter wank
