Didn't listen to the game today, but we had many more gaol attempts.

Were they weak efforts or were we a little unlucky again?

What's prison got to do with it. 9 chances on target according to joe501's stats. ;)

I fear we are going to be unable to score today,can't see where a goal is going to come from but I live in hope...

It wasnt rocket science H, but you can still give me your lottery numbers.;)

Apart from the lack of goals I still believe we are improving ,be it slowly.

Sounded not a bad performance but we lacked any goal threat.

My brother is still adament we should be beat any side out of the top 4 at home, its dawned on me after Burnley. We're in this division for a long time.

i agree. i'm pretty confident that we'll finish better this season than last. but progress is slow

That's the way it is - things are turning out this season in just the way most of us less than naive people thought:

1. Now things have settled down - we are pretty hard to beat - as expected;

2. We were always going to find it difficult to score sufficient goals to make much impact - i.e. feature as a force in the top half of the table - the selling of DC has made that situation very much worse;

3. The football we play will not generate non- ST holders to turn up ...

having spent thousands on buying STs in the past and also at other times match day tickets, I can't think of any time when I was less motivated to turn out

CL is no fool - and is slowly improving the standing of the side based on sorting out the defence..... although in my opinion he is not a manager who is able to bring any spectactular success to the club, but on the other hand in the mediocre state we are in, we're not likely to replace him with anyone much better

From the OS. ;)

Levein also hinted that he could be on the lookout for another striker after his team again failed to find the net at home.

He added: "I have thought about bringing in another forward, but there is no point doing that unless I can get someone who will improve the team. It is something that we have talked about and are looking."

Thought Hume looked the part today when he came on. Much prefer him upfront than Hammond. Also was very impressed with Gerrbrand he seemed very solid at the back and looked really comfortable with the ball. Please please though CL can you give Sheehan a run at left back. Nissa is not comfortable in that position.

It was a scrappy game throughout and a draw was probably a fair result. It wasn't a great performance by any stretch of the imagination, but there are signs of improvement. On the plus side Gerrbrand and McCarthy looked solid at the back; Gerrbrand looks like a cracking signing, very composed on the ball. Hume looked good when he came on, much more of a threat than Hammond, who I thought was very poor today. I think Hammond would be more effective as a sub, when legs are tiring, bring him on for his pace. IMO we don't make use of our wingers enough, why we didn't spread the ball to Smith more is beyond me. It was good to see an improved performance.

Powder Puff upfront until Hume came on with 15 mins to go by the sound of things.

But despite all his good approach play Hume still doesn't look like scoring, you need to get your shots on target to do that. Hammond had a couple on target, but it would have needed a very poor goalkeeper to let them in.
Dublin is far too slow now, and he seemed to bottle out of a few 50-50s today.
But there wasn't really much threat from midfield, Williams was poor again (no doubt MB will be along to say he was the best player on the pitch...)

Despite the number of times we're failing to score, I think we are improving, we're starting to play better football - it's better to watch than the hoof rubbish we got used to under MA, we just don't seem to have the edge that's needed to break teams down.

It's either going to be 0-0 or a 6 goal thriller!

Tell the truth. You knew which one it was going to be, didn't you?

What was the reception for w*s*?
Any nasty tackles on him?

He didn't play.

Nevertheless, surely somebody could have given him a quick kick in the dugout
