Some very good posts and quite an interesting debate, from what I hear and see in Levein especially in the media, he comes across as very level headed and intelligent, he doesnt get too over excited by a victory but neither does he get too upset by the odd setback.
The one thing I will say is that the majority of players seem to want to play for him, that has been demonstrated by the level of effort and commitment displayed over the last few weeks, Sylla and Williams aside.
I actually think Levein is just the type of character we need, he has a long term plan and he will not be diverted from his mission, but he is a realist and he knows along the way he will have to make sacrifices, such as Connolly, but as yet I havent heard one word of complaint from him or an excuse, most managers would be using the sale of their top striker as an excuse for the next 2 seasons.
In the main he is open and honest, he says it how most of us see it, and he isnt afraid to change or tinker with the playing style if that is what is required, he acknowledged we were shipping goals earlier in the season and he has worked on this and now we look very solid, he has now acknowledged that going forward we are not firing on all cylinders, he has pledged to work on this during this international break and I have faith that we will see the benefits in the coming weeks.
IMO we have a very good manager who will, if given time be remembered for the positive contribution and impact he had on our club.
