He is the right appointment for me, but it will take time. Especially without Fryatt, DJ and John we were always going to struggle to score goals today.

Can someone who saw please give me info on those who did play please?

Sapplebum looked like a fish out of water :icon_sad:

Why?, I wasn't over impressed with his appointment anyway!!

I don't think it matters much whether people were impressed or not.

Player recruitment is always the big issue and neither Holloway nor anyone else can do much about that for the time being.

It couldn't be much plainer that the manager's rantings whoever he is are quite irrelevant. We just haven't got enough decent footballers.

Holloway needs to just stop the rot - hewon't be able to do much more this season.

Don't agree.

In any trade, a decent Manager will get the best out of his employees, not feel the need to employ a shit load of different ones.

However, in football, the modern Manager isn't able to this because he's too young, too inexperienced and too inferior to the players to gain the right amount of respect.

I'm not saying Holloway isn't the right man, I'm not even saying it was his fault. All I was saying that it was shit and dire to watch and he must take his share of the blame. 'cause believe me, if we'd one today, the Blue Mongies would have been giving him the credit!!!!

After the first 5 minutes, our players - and then the crowd - quickly realised that Southampton's players were man for man technically more gifted than us.

In short, they were too skilful for us. We didn't match them for effort and energy either....

Saints, suprisngly, for me, were the best team ive seen at the walkers this season by a long way

I loved the way Nathan Dyer was under the impression that Richard Stearman needed assistance in making himself look like a complete buffoon.

but at least the guy looks like he is trying, Cort just looks uninterested.
Aye, and therein lies the problem for both players.

One looks interested, the other doesn't. In reality, they both achieve the same results.
