Other than Nacho in obviously only changes I’d think about are Ghezzal for Albrighton and Silva for Mendy if we want a better passer in CM to get the ball to Maddison quicker

Everyone's comments today have been about how good Mendy was today... And you wanna drop him?

Nacho for Vardy should be the only change.

He is an out and out holding man, I’ve not seen much of Southampton so can’t judge if we’d need him in that role or a better ball player in there.

It’s a discussion the coaches will be having and I’ll be happy either way

**** me, you've said some daft things in your time but Silva in for Mendy is up there with the most mental of them. Mendy was our best player over the 90 minutes and looked exactly like the type footballer we have been missing for a long time. You think we should consider taking him out for Silva, a player than has been either poor or just totally anonymous almost every time he has played - utter, utter madness.

What on earth makes you think Silva is a better passer or ball player than Mendy based on the evidence?

Mendy made the most passes yesterday and also had the highest pass completion rate (95%). Add to that, he made tackles and interceptions. I thought he looked excellent and also alot fitter than when he last played for us. Fingers crossed he maintains his form.

yes he is, Mendy had a great game but he is a more defensive option than Silva even you in your hysterical over reactionary mind set must be able to understand that, Wolves are a more attacking team than Southampton, they will present a different challenge so may need different skill set within our team

pass completion percentage isn't necessarily the best just I bet Wilfs is very high too but both are fairly conservative passers, that's their nature and that's not a criticism, but against United I felt we got the ball to Maddison quicker and more efficiently, and all I am saying is that if I'm Puel that it would be one of the changes I would think about making based on the scouting reports of Soton he is currently studying in preparation for next Saturday

I’m not an obsessive about keeping the same team for the sake of it, but it would be nice to see Puel start to build the semblance of a consistent first XI who can learn each other’s game. So I agree - Nacho for Vards, and that’s it.

So now you think Silva is a better defensive option even though Mendy's tackling and the way he went about breaking up play was excellent? Even though we've never seen Silva do this effectively since he has been with us? In essence, according to you Silva is a better passer, a better ball player and a better defensive midfielder than Mendy. The Mendy you saw yesterday. Right? You need a medication change.

You could also do with learning what the word 'reactionary' means.

When did he say that?
He didn't. I've just re-read it. Tit.

Still, the bollocks about dropping a player who did really well for one who has constantly under performed and underwhelmed is nonetheless ridiculous.

Wind your neck in, he’s only expressing an opinion.

and on Friday if someone told you you'd be kicking off over the idea Mendy isn't starting you would have laughed at them yet after the grand total of one game suddenly him not playing is unthinkable? Have some perspective, I expect this sort of reaction from the cretins of Facebook, not on a forum like this.

I can't see Puel making that many changes and he is a fan of Mendy. S'oton are there for the taking and it will be brilliant to see Mark Hughes moaning again.

3-0 will do nicely

Regardless of whether I agree with Skitzo I always think he explains his opinion and why he says what he does.

He's one of the few people on here who offer a thoughtful opinion on the football without hammering everyone else's.

Not sure why he bothers mind, what with the aggressive nature of the dismissal he usually receives.

Probably, but then I watched the game. That's kind of what happens - you watch something and then use what you see to help you form an opinion. I didn't say that Mendy not playing was unthinkable, I said replacing him with a player who has done the square root of **** all for the club since he has been here after his first game back in which he did really well would be idiotic. Explained well enough?

And I offered an opposing on. Whether some snowflakes think it was aggressive or not is their look out.
Jesus wept, not the snowflake. Nothing says internet big man like calling someone a snowflake.

If you were talking to someone at work or in the pub, you wouldn’t declare such a trivial opinion to be bollocks and suggest a ‘medication change’, I’m sure.

and its usually from the same person, think he needs to see a shrink to understand why he gets so aggressive
