Initially I was surprised at the red. Looking back on it there is an element of dangerous play with the high foot. However the card was given for denying a goalscoring opportunity.

Anyway hope Brendan has a plan. Southampton are fairly defensive at the best of times. Now they've gone ultra defensive. Also we really need to sort out offside trap out. I'm sure it's becoming a point of weakness that opponents feel they can exploit playing this high defensive line.
