We’ve had two weeks to plan for this. It’s a dreadful first half performance against a team with one point this season.

We looked unprepared and confused for the first 15 minutes and we’ve looked extremely brittle across the back four, particularly at full back, throughout.

After each game he’d look for small signs of improvement, or we’d talk about the odd thing he’d done well. He stuck by him for longer than most did, but, eventually, even he had to give in. It just wasn’t working and he wasn’t up to the task.
