This will be my first game of the season, I think it would be really interesting to bring on Hammond during the game and see what him and O'Grady are like together.

I think he'll struggle to get a game now O'Grady has been blooded - I just wonder if OG has one more " bad boy " Championship ban to run.

Yes Hammond! We should all know by now that RK likes to keep a settled side whenever league results allow. COG or Hume will be on for him as soon as the chance arises though!

I would personally love to see COG start alongside Fryatt on Saturday but I think he'll have to be a little more patient, as will Hume..but he will get his chance.

Tuesdays game gave the nucleus of the Ipswich/Cov side a rest. The benefit of that is that these players will be fresh. I think we could have won 5-0 on Tuesday and it may still not change RKs planning for this game.

I hope i'm wrong and COG or Hume starts.

If Kenton or Johnson don't make it then Stearman or Weso will start.

I think we'll win 2-0.

I did consider swapping Weso with Johnson, but his through ball for Fryatt against Ipswich put him there. I also think Johnson would suit this role has he is always looking to slit the defense with a through ball

:icon_lol: Again, I'm not going to disagree. But we need to be attacking minded against Southend and what I've seen from Johnson he does like to play the ball straight through the middle of the park.

I think he has both strings to his bow and this game should be one where use his attacking string

I would agree with this side. RK has said that he doesn't like to change a settled side, but Hume has done enough to build some fitness and earn a place in the starting line up. COG has also done enough to get onto the bench, I don't think he will start as he played 90 on Tuesday. Weso won't start as he still does not look fully fit.

As above plus Logan, McAuley, Weso, Hughes and COG on the bench.
