Couldn't agree more BG, we would also be the most likely 2 to behave and keep up the moral standards that are expected of us

I know, moral standards are very important these days, you have to show class and be comfortable at such functions. We would not let the side down at all.

No way are you getting my tenner now

I agree with you, Homer. I'd rather send it to... well, perhaps not!

I think to sponsor the academy ( rather than an individual player ) costs £150, and that gets you a mention in every home programme.

We went down this route a couple of years ago, and quite a number agreed to chip in a tenner.

Unfortunately there wasn't quite enough people so we were asked to join forces with the Foxes Trust. We duly paid our cash, but alas the sponsorhip name went down as the FT, rather than this website.

Feckers

Funnily enough we all sponsored Richard Stearman - who hadn't then broken through to the first team. He did break through in that season, though, and the feckers at City let some big Corporate wankers come in and sponsor him as a First Team player rather than a youth team player (more cash) and so the next time I looked in the programme they had taken the FT's name out and replaced it with said Corporate wankers.

All went off without a wimper from the FT so when they asked for money for the next season I told them to shove it up their jacksie

If I remember, Jeff wasn't that bothered about getting the TB name used- but he might feel differently now

Just like to correct the facts here.

The Trust wasn't happy how this was handled at the time & made it quite clear to TD. We were approached to switch players as a first team sponsor for Stearman had been found, we were consulting the syndicate members about their views & the club merrily signed up the new sponsor & listed them in the programme before our agreement (or otherwise) had been sorted.

However we weren't removed from the programme as Homer suggests, our sponsorship remained listed on the Academy page, while a different sponsor was listed on the first team page.

Like Homer, several syndicate members were unhappy with how it was handled & therefore refused to take part the following year.

The Trust syndicate will be the first team sponsor for Louis Dodds for next season.

If you want to join in, each syndicate member is putting in £20, just e-mail [email protected] with your interest.

The Academy player sponsorship was dropped as a scheme last year, we understand it is being re-introduced but if you are looking at doing a syndicate you would need to check what is & isn't included for the price.

Hey...... feck off and start your own thread and stop hijacking this one. :018: :018:
The academy sponsorship has restarted again I have a letter to prove it.
Is this something else the club has kept you in the dark about....

I've already signed up for the trust sndicate, but happy to put £20 in here as well.

How much are you up to so far?
