If a player was 21 before the 1st of January this year he has to be in the named 25 man squad if he wants to play for the first team. Assuming the rules haven't changed.

Tom Lawrence was born on 13/1/94, so he counts as an under 21 even though he isn't. If he'd been born two weeks earlier he wouldn't be considered to be under 21.
