He was as bad as the rest today, no pass to feet, no vision, no movement... It looked like an end-of-season display, at best.

Stearman's plan when on the field is:- long punt upfield onto head of opposing centre back, or even better into vacant space nowhere near our players.

Will he help us get promoted?????

Smashing lad though, works hard on the training ground

I say keep him for a while, same with Fryatt. They've shown what they can do on their day, they just need to be consistant

Agreed, and I think with both players a better manager, coach and motivator would possibly get a lot more out of them.

The sooner we get competitive reserve fixtures the better. These players are out of the first eleven and don't play, therefore they are not up to the level of competiveness required. They are brought in and struggle to make an impact, the only way they will show their potential is through player competitively. Then you can have a legit gripe if they are crap. Think Stearman has the potential but will struggle to fulfil it by sitting on his arse every week. Same goes for all the other including the academy player who play at the youth level and we axpect them to jump up & perform in the first team. It's not going to happen without proper reserve fixtures.
