IMO Newell wouldn't get on with Mandaric at all... I'd love to have seen him here but it won't work at the moment.

The same was said about Megson before he appointed him so I doubt if MM is swayed by these things. I would have thought that if it was an out of work manager then surely they would have been appointed by now wouldn't they?

There are certainly worse candidates out there. IMO he has proven himself to be a decent Manager in his short time as one and has managed to get a team promoted from the division we are in. Still think he could do with having a General Manager as a buffer between himself & the Mad Serb if he was to come though.

If it is true then he has been asking to have his name put forward too then he ticks the boxes that MM wants. I will be severely pissed off if we end up with someone like Gregory when we could of had an up and comming Manager in Grayson.
