I shall reiterate this is the away thread when the details are announced, but anyone who is thinking of travelling by train will be unable to do so.

Engineering works mean the earliest you can arrive into Stoke will be 3.30pm on that Sunday. I have checked all routes, and it's not possible to get there in time for the kick off.

I was under the impression all games must start and end at the same time?

Then why was ours scheduled for any other time in the first place?

Probably more to do with the fact LCFC had been advertising the wrong time and date on the OS for months.

All of the games were scheduled for 3pm, however this was never set in stone.

It has obvioulsy only just been decided by the football league that all games will kick off at 2pm.

Fair enough.

Nothing to do with that at all. The decision to kick-off at 2 was only announced by the FL today. Everybody was surely aware that 3 was not likely to be the kick-off time; it has been mentioned here several times and I put it in the TB calendar last July when the fixtures were first announced.

Every Championship teams' website has shown the 3 p.m. start time and I think that if you can be bothered to look, they will all have announced the new time today.

But only a small fraction of them are discussing KO times. :icon_bigg

The rest are questioning the emptiness of the lives of those who are discussing KO times ;)

More likely Sky decided they want them at 2PM, and the football league are too weak to argue against it.

I have spoken to the Football League several times on the issue of the kick-off time for this set of matches, the last time being only last week. They have always been clear that the kick-off time depended on the negotiations that they would be having with Sky.

This is not the first season that this has happened so I don't know why people seem to be surprised by it. At least on this occasion they announced the Sunday-date from the outset. It is not so long ago that the announcement of a change of date from the Saturday to the Sunday was taking place at about this time.
