Including Villa (unbeaten in 90), is that 9 or 10 unbeaten games now? Good stuff.

Top half!

from OS

Rob Kelly says his side will be keeping their feet firmly on the ground after he watched his Foxes make it eight games unbeaten in the league with a 2-1 victory over Stoke City on Tuesday night. Leicester have now climbed to 12th in the Championship table following the win - and can look back on October as a very productive month having secured 11 points from a possible 15.
But despite their upturn in form the City boss confirmed that he will be keeping his side fully focussed on the task in hand as they now turn their attentions to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
He said: "We are heading in the right direction, but we are not getting carried away with it all because life has a nasty habit of kicking you where it hurts when you are least expecting it.
"We didn't hit rock bottom when we had a sticky start to the season and we are not popping Champagne corks today."
City were dealt a blow ahead of the game with the news that Patrick Kisnorbo had failed a late fitness test on a knee injury.
But despite being down to the bare bones once again Kelly's men dug deep to secure the victory.
He added: "I was pleased with the manner of the result more than anything else.
"There were nearly 30,000 supporters inside the Walkers Stadium for our last home game and I thought that there was a danger that we could have suffered a hangover. But that didn't happen at Queen's Park Rangers in difficult circumstances, and it didn't happen tonight.
"I have said all along that the players who step in are capable of doing a job for us and we saw that again tonight. It was testament to our spirit and togetherness. We ground that one out.
"We will end up playing seven games in 21 days come five o'clock on Saturday evening at Hillsborough. But people who know us know that we plan things and we work hard. It might not always come to fruition, but we try and plan as best we can.
"I am lucky in the fact that I have got really good staff here who obviously help with the players enormously.
"We knew that we were going to need everyone and it will be interesting at the end of this run to have a look at exactly how many players we have used.
"But the fact that they are ready when they are called upon is testament to them."

fantastic stuff!!

people singing as they were walking out of the terrraces aswell, there is a smile back on the face of Leicester.

Tiatto had a quality game and Johnson looked OK. Whats Happening

Johnson was absolutely shocking again.

I am delighted by the win but am baffled that people are saying he played well  .
He is quite possibly the worst midfielder I have seen at this club,(yes I include Junior Lewis in that)

Hello Swede and welcome:icon_bigg . Your English is fine, infact alot better than one of our other posters Mr Hugh Jarse:icon_wink

Oops, sorry, as I said I just found out about the site, but I'll go and change now...

Well, my dad has supported Leicester City since the early 70's, so it came pretty natural to me. I have not been a big fan all the time though, actually I have supported some other teams:icon_redf , but now I'm back on track again. :icon_bigg

I am not in love with this Post Match Thread mularkey. :icon_conf :icon_conf :icon_conf :102:

Don't post in it then :icon_roll

What usually happens is people come back from the match and post comments in the match thread. This means others who went to the match and want to read post match stuff have to read through 100+ irrelevant posts to find it.

Maybe you don't notice this if you're not at the match, but most of the match thread stuff is of no interest at all to people who were at the match. I'm trying to make it the forum more user friendly by making it easier for people to find the stuff they're interested in.

Good idea.

Sounds stupid I know, but I'd rather read 2 threads of 10 pages instead of 1 thread with 20 pages. :icon_conf :icon_conf :102: :icon_lol:

Welcome Swede Fox, is your Father English?, I'm curious as to why he would support Leicester City if he doesn't need to

Top idea Jeff

But everyone needs to - it's just that most Scandanavians have more taste and discernment (apart from IKEA) than the rest of the world.;)

Welcome Swedefox! :039:
