If markyp224 was to be friends with a premiership striker, perhaps the odds are on it being Heskey, given he comes from Leicester and all that - Occam's Razor.

Notts was pointed out to me in the pub before Scunthorpe a few seasons back - and I can say that he looks the dead spit of Heskey, like a twin in fact.

If a deal had been agreed to sign Heskey when this thread was started, he wouldn't have played on boxing day, risking an injury that could jeopardise the transfer. He played on boxing day, and was injured...

I'm not teasing you ... to be serious I think it is Heskey if markyp is not on the wind up.
As per Mattmeister's post, Heskey has been linked, local lad so would fit why he'd be friends, markyp said the player was very happy at the 2.5yr deal, Heskey at his stage of his career would be delighted. Fan's would be happy about it IMO, so thats why I think it is Heskey.
